Monkeypox is a viral disease in which the virus is transmitted from animals to humans and also from an infected human to non-infected humans.  The common symptoms of monkeypox include fever and rashes filled with fluid. Some preventive measures to limit the spread of the disease include sharing bedding and clothes with the patient, covering exposed skin, and covering noses and mouths while sneezing. Although the condition often disappears on its own, it is vital to consult a doctor and isolate oneself.  &lt;br&gt;Dr. Animesh Jain, Professor of Community Medicine from Mangalore, speaks about Monkeypox, its symptoms, transmission, and treatment.
