Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is heart disease. The primary symptoms of takotsubo cardiomyopathy include chest pain and palpitation. Apart from this, patients suffering from this condition also complain about dyspnea, characterised by shortness of breath. Additionally, patients can also faint 2 to 3 times. These symptoms should not be neglected, and a doctor must be consulted immediately for further diagnosis. Some standard laboratory tests like cardiac MRI, echo, ECG and blood tests are performed before starting the treatment.  Dr Gaurav Bandhu talks about the symptoms of takotsubo cardiomyopathy.
