Pos-operation the recovery of patients depends on a wide variety of factors such as the type of operation and the kind of anesthesia given. It also depends on the condition of the patient before the operation and the body&#039;s reaction to the operation along with other factors. Patients usually experience nausea and vomiting and necessary medications are given to manage this condition.  Patients may feel confused and sleepy after the operation due to the sedative drugs or anesthesia given during the operation. Patients may also have soreness of the throat and hoarseness of voice. They may also feel discomfort in the abdomen due to the usage of carbon dioxide during the surgery. Necessary medications help in managing post-operative problems and patients are discharged once they are deemed safe to go home.
