Different tests are initially done to confirm that a woman has urinary incontinence. Non-surgical treatment includes bladder training and doing pelvic floor exercises to increase the strength of the pelvic floor muscles. Pelvic floor physiotherapy is also recommended for these patients. Surgical options are considered when non-surgical treatment does not lead to any positive results.
