Appropriate skin care for newborn in winter is crucial today. As the new born babies are not able to regulate their temperature, parents should be extra careful. In the winters, babies should not be bathed more than once in a day and lukewarm water should be used for their bath. The bath should be for a short duration and the baby should be covered in a towel immediately afterwards.  Paraben free lotion or petroleum jelly should be applied to the skin so that it is not exposed to the harsh environment.
