Ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that is not present in its usual position that is inside the uterus. Ectopic pregnancy usually occurs in the fallopian tubes. Every female has two Fallopian tubes that arise from the uterus. However, in a few cases, pregnancy gets into the cervical region or the ovaries. In most cases, ectopic pregnancy is located in the fallopian tube. As the pregnancy develops in the fallopian tube, it ruptures or bursts. In this situation, the patient requires immediate medical care.  &lt;br&gt;Dr. Parvinder Kaur, gynaecologist from Narayana Memorial Hospital, Kolkata, describes ectopic pregnancy.
