There is a thin line of difference between PCOS and PCOD. Most often, these two conditions are used interchangeably by people, but there exists a line of difference between the two conditions. PCOD is a milder version of PCOS, and most Indian female population suffer from it. The root pathology for the two is the same, resulting in androgenic features like acne and excessive facial and body hair. Irrespective of the condition, it is vital that females must avoid junk food so that they may lose weight.
