Sedentary lifestyle has a massive adverse impact on fertility in women. It can lead to hormonal imbalances and may cause polycystic ovary syndrome as well as obesity due to excessive weight gain by sitting at one place for a significant part of the day. In men, a sedentary lifestyle affects the sperm quality. Due to excessive sitting with laptop on thighs, there may be increased temperature in the testes area which may affect sperm production. Regular breaks must be taken and exercises must be done regularly as these help in controlling infertility issues caused due to sedentary lifestyle.  &lt;br&gt;Dr. Prashant Joshi, consultant fertility specialist from Bangalore, Karnataka discusses whether sedentary lifestyle affects fertility.
