There are diverse health benefits of dairy products for children. Milk is the most common dairy product used in a child’s diet. Along with milk, it is also advisable to give yogurt, butter and cheese to children. Milk is easily digestible and palatable for children. Breast milk is usually the predominant form of milk in a baby’s diet. It is known as a superfood that contains all calories, vitamins and micronutrients in the appropriate proportion. These prove crucial for a child’s proper growth and development. However, consuming too much milk may also be harmful to children. It is recommended that at two or three years, a child should not be given more than two cups of milk.
