Cervical cancer treatment categorised as stage 1 can be done through surgery. It can be either open surgery or keyhole surgery. Keyhole surgeries through laparoscopic equipment are advanced and are considered to be the best method. Surgeries remove the entire organ having the tumor and can promise that the patient can lead a completely normal life post-surgery. Radiation and chemotherapy are given for advanced-stage cervical cancers. This treatment has better results but most patients experience some problems related to micturition, passing stools, bowel-related problems and hair fall.
