t is essential to know when do you need anti-D in pregnancy. Many pregnant women and caretakers experience doubt about when they must take anti-D in pregnancy. Anti-D is recommended at 28 weeks of pregnancy, only if the antibody titre is higher when the mother is Rh negative and the father is Rh positive. Anti-D is also given in complications like chorioamnionitis or trauma to the mother&#039;s abdomen area or ectopic pregnancy. Anti-D is recommended within 72 hours of delivery if the baby&#039;s blood group is Rh-positive for an Rh-negative mother.
