There are some home care tips for treating keratitis to prevent the situation from getting worse. Keratitis is of three kinds bacterial, fungal and viral keratitis. And they can be severe if not managed well. As home care, the patients should not use any water or eye wash or any other liquid in the eyes during the attack of keratitis and should only use eye drops prescribed by an ophthalmologist. Patients have to clean their eyes with clean hands and clean swabs at regular intervals, and in the case of diabetic patients, their blood sugar must be controlled because the blood sugar level prevents wound healing and healing of the corneal ulcer.
