Social Egg Freezing refers to the procedure in which eggs of a woman are freezed and these may be frozen for years together. Women may get their ovarian reserve checked at the fertility centers where they will be advised regarding the freezing procedure. The lab should be well-equipped in the long run. It should follow all the standard operating procedures and should have a good expertise. It is observed that there is a decrease in global egg reserve so in today&#039;s times women must consider freezing their eggs around the age of 30 if they have no plans of marriage or pregnancy anytime soon. The eggs are getting exhausted because of pollution, stress, smoking, alcohol, chemicals present in food, electromagnetic waves from mobile phones among other reasons. Males and females who undergo chemo or radiation therapy for cancer are also advised to freeze their eggs or semen before the start of their treatment. These eggs/ semen can be used in future to plan their family after the treatment.
