The course of infertility treatment begins with diagnosis and treating basic defects like thyroid, diabetes, and infections if any. If hemoglobin is less than 10 grams then treatment for anemia is given. In case of female patients, their husbands have to undergo semen analysis. If it has defects then they are transferred to a urologist for further treatment. On the other hand, if the semen analysis is normal, then only the female patients are treated. These include defects like fibroma wherein laparoscopy is done for tubal testing. This helps to check if the uterine tubes are properly functioning or not. Simultaneously, ovarian biopsy and ultrasound are done for a follicular monitoring test to keep a check if the ovulation occurs or not.
